Sebastian Janik Assumes Expanded Leadership Responsibilities

For many years, Sebastian Janik has played a key role in the continuous development of Echterhage Holding GmbH & Co. KG. His position within the corporate group is now being strategically expanded.

Since 2016, Sebastian Janik has been a member of the executive management team at Echterhage Holding. In 2019, he was additionally entrusted with the commercial management of DST Dauermagnet-SystemTechnik GmbH and the Italian manufacturing company Oleotec S.r.l. In the same year, he also became a co-shareholder of Echterhage Holding.

His scope of responsibilities within the Echterhage Holding is now being further expanded as he takes on executive management roles in additional group companies, including VSE Volumentechnik GmbH, Beinlich Pumpen GmbH, and HBE GmbH. In this capacity, he will, together with Mr. Jürgen Echterhage, assume responsibility for the commercial management of the entire corporate group, making a key contribution to the long-term strategic direction of Echterhage Holding.

New Impulses for the Future

With the appointment of Sebastian Janik, the Group is emphasising its great confidence in his extensive professional expertise and his ability to help shape the strategic development of Echterhage Holding in the long term.

The expansion of his area of responsibility is aimed at further improving cooperation between the individual companies in the Group and strengthening competitiveness in the respective business sectors.

Career Path

Through dedication and tireless commitment, Sebastian Janik has risen through the ranks from a cooperative education student to authorized signatory and, ultimately, to executive management.

Twenty-four years ago, Sebastian Janik was the first cooperative education student within the Echterhage corporate group. In 2001, he began his training as an industrial clerk at our system manufacturer DST.

Simultaneously, he pursued a dual degree in business administration (VWA). During this period, he gained in-depth insights into administrative and operational processes across purchasing, sales, accounting, and various other departments.

Due to his outstanding performance, Sebastian Janik worked as an assistant to the management team while still completing his studies. He specialized in finance, controlling, and insurance management, and in 2007, he was granted power of attorney.

From 2012 onward, Sebastian Janik served as an authorized signatory for Echterhage Holding. In this role, he was responsible for investments, insurance, and financial management across the entire corporate group.

In 2016, he transitioned to the executive leadership team, and since then, he has jointly led Echterhage Holding alongside Jürgen Echterhage.
